Bio

Nina Ross is an UK based filmmaker and ethnographic researcher. Fascinated by the joys and challenges of everyday life, she explores human stories that paint a vivid picture of our messy and complex social landscapes. Her work touches upon universal themes from health to climate change, crafting insightful narratives that really resonate with the audience.

She has experience producing content for leading brands and organisations, transforming client briefs into original, creatively driven storytelling, and managing production from conception through to delivery. With specialist training from the Centre for Visual Anthropology, Nina has a particular expertise in ethnographic methods, and a film making process that is always rooted in research. She is always eager to work closely with communities/ those with lived experience, facilitating opportunities for them to tell their own stories, in their own words.
